Instagram stories made a splash onto the social scene in a serious way. At first not many used the feature but then it grew in popularity and with good reason! By the end of today’s blog post, you will understand why Stories is such a popular feature and why you need to start using it right away.

According to Omnicore, there are 300 Million active stories users. That’s a lot of eyeballs looking for “Stories” content to consume. If you aren’t making use of the stories feature, you could be missing out on valuable exposure.
Reason #2: Stories Are More Discoverable
Your Insta-stories can be seen by people who aren’t following you. That means, your brand is getting even more exposure through the stories feature.
Reason #3: Personalized Engagement
When your face is in front of the camera, those who are consuming your content through stories feel more of a personal connection to you. When people feel personally connected to you and your brand, more trust is built with relates to buyer confidence.

Based on your business account’s “Insights.” The insights (analytics) feature of Instagram will show you when your target audience is most likely using the app, telling you when it’s the best time to post.

Instagram stories are super fun to create and consume! The stickers, gifs, filters, and text options are a dream come true for creatives. With all the options available, you have the opportunity to get as creative as you want which makes it fun for you and fun for the person watching your stories.
Take some time to get acquainted with Instagram Stories. Play with the app and practice creating a combination of stories that include still images and video snippets.
You can practice, play, and create within the Instagram story feature to get a feel for how it works and then abandon or delete the post. This is a great way to get a feel for the feature and to build up your confidence.
